Colored Boy's Weekly Freebie: iDump Pro

As you may have read, my hard drive crashed recently. With that crash, I lost music, movies, TV shows, software, recorded choreography, ALL of my writing and pictures from over the yeras, my ENTIRE Janet collection (tours, remixes, interviews, TV specials, interviews, award shows, etc.), and some....mature viewing material. I was devastated, to say the least. I've begun the long process of finding what I can. The bright side to everything is that that about 85% of my music was backed up on my iPod. While it is hard to remember all the goodies and rare items I once had, the journey has been made much easier by a very valuable program I found a while back.

Years ago, when a bad breakup resulted in the disappearance of my desktop, I found a way to grab music from my iPod to rebuild my collection. Within iTunes, there is no way to transfer files from your iPod back to your computer. iDump Pro allows users to dump your iPod onto a computer, share music on a friend's computer, rip and burn CDs and transfer files between hard drives.

iDump Pro allows you to copy entire playlists as well as any videos you may have on your iPod. This came in handy for me recently, as I have used iDump to trade music with friends to rebuild my once-glorious music collection.

The program itself is free with a fully-functional 30-day trial. That's more than enough time to acquire what you need from your your generous homies. If it expires, just uninstall the program, reinstall, and start over. Shazzam!
